Suggest a way to determine the Λom value of water

Q3.8: Suggest a way to determine the Λomvalue of water.
Solution:
According to Kohlrausch’s law
Λom(H2O)  = Λom(HCl) + Λom(NaOH) – Λom(NaCl)
Hence if we know the values of Λofor  HCl, NaOH, and NaCl, then we can calculate the value of Λom  for the water

  1. In an electrostatic cell external sources of wattage is used to bring about a chemical reaction. The electrochemical process are of of great importance in the laboratory and chemical industry. One of the symbol of electrolytic cell consists of two copper strips dipping in an aqua solution of CU 2 + ions. if a DC voltage is applied to the two electrodes then CU 2 + ions discharge at the cathode and the following reaction takes place CU 2 + IT solution + 2 a gives cu2s
